Had a long day and we ended the night with a very rewarding treat. Got a chance to watch the Part I of the Twilight Saga’s Breaking Dawn. I hesitated after I heard some feedbacks from people who probably weren’t able to read the book watched the movie and grapevine such news it wasn’t as good as it is supposed to be. For me, being someone who were able to read the book twice and follow the making of it come to life, this one has lived up to my expectations.
The most important thing I look up to a movie once I have read it is of course, if it had turned out to how I imagined it. I remember reading about one author, Im not sure if its Paulo Coelho (pardon me if I’m wrong) I think ive read one of his books and a character in that book was explaining why he wouldn’t like his books to become a movie. He mentioned if I am not mistaken, that his readers have their own imagination, and they have their own picture of what they were reading so he need not the movie. (I believe that what was he meant, If I understood and remembered it right, that was about 2years ago). And He definitely is right about it.
The major details I was expecting to see in the movie were there, not to mention about a part in the book Bella was craving too much for eggs, well I can just let it pass. Im glad I was able to see the luggage Alice has packed, saw Bella’s reaction to it just like how I imagined her reaction would be based on the book. And one more thing I liked, is which part they’ve decided to cut the movie… Because it wanted me to see the next part right after today!
I went to see it with a friend who is a film critic and twilight hater. It was hilarious. Not the movie- watching my friend.
I was okay until the wolves started talking.
other than that, i was okay.
the wolves were a little ridiculous, no?
haha! twilight hater huh.im not a lover but for me its a feel-good movie. haha.. i can almost imagine your friend ranting about almost all the scenes there. about the wolves?well they were not the best animated wolves and yeah, quite awkward seeing them talkin in the movie.
