Inspired by the movie Meet The Robinsons and someone Who used to be special.
It is quite ironic how someone can actually break your heart and eventually helps you mend it afterwards. I learned about this movie from a person I may have loved in the past, I just can’t remember it now.
I was definitely moved by how the movie jives with my personal belief that I seem to have lost over the years: KEEP MOVING FORWARD. Never to give up and to take every failure as a stepping stone to reach where I wanna go, what I wanted to achieve. I had to write this to remind myself of one phrase in the movie and the theme song, just in case I become a little less hopeful in the future;
“BUT I CANNOT FORGET THE WAY I FEEL RIGHT NOW”.
From Rob Thomas’ “Little Wonders”.
My mother has recently questioned my obsession to animated films and cartoon movies as a 27 year old working professional. I guess she doesn’t appreciate the fact that these movies are actually made to entertain some kids, inspire a few other kids and change the heart of adults. This quote would not greatly fit to any other person in the world but to an adult who’s going through a lot right now:
Walt Disney has never failed to change someone’s heart about almost anything, all it takes is to watch the right movie at the right time and circumstance. That guy was right.
I am amazed about how this man seem to know how to communicate and change my mind. I do wanna meet him someday if he can wait, for now, I wanna be focused on why I actually watched Meet the Robinsons in the first place.
